I have many old medical record boxes with older transparencies stored in my gallery. Usually when an image is relegated to these files, it is lost forever! I have just installed a Sony Bravia flatscreen in the gallery with the intention of it using to showcase older work, and to critique workshop students work instantly after a shooting session. When I searched for older photographs to resurrect this one of Yosemite Falls caught my eye. Years before, it just did not seem to quite "make it" for me, but now I began to wonder. This was one of the first two images that visitors to my gallery selected from the monitor. We'll see if the recent visitors are correct! I had no idea that this subject could yield a print as vibrant and rich as this current version.
