I made this image during our back-country workshop in the summer of 2014. I had four amazing students who hiked all day, used their cameras at dawn and dusk, and still had the energy to shoot at midnight all four evenings! We started closer to Clyde Minaret for two evenings, and then moved back along the north side of the lake the last night. I made this panoramic with 5 vertical slices using a 14mm lens. It is a wonderful image showing a wide section of the Minarets, and the nighttime sky. Another photograph was done with one exposure using the same 14mm lens, and shows part of the Lake Ediza. Both captures were exposed at an ISO of 6400, I like each of them!
