The coastline of Big Sur is considered by many to be the most beautiful meeting of land and water in the world. All those individuals just might be right. I have spent countless days along the coast in Big Sur the last few years. I do love the area! These flowers, called "Tower of Jewels" grow along the road in the springtime. I am not sure if they are a native species or not. But they are quite photographic. This is my best effort so far.
