Ferndale is a small, charming town in the far north of California. It is a famous place for hydrangeas, and is also known for neighborhood flower pots and old Victorian houses. I only had one night here on our trip -- we were mostly camping along the coast and in the Redwoods. The captures I was able to get in that short time were very worthwhile! This is one of two wonderful captures I worked on immediately from the day. It is somewhat of a callback to earlier days in my career when I photographed more architecture than I do now.
