Now, 25 years after Galen Rowell’s time and 50 years after Ansel Adams’ time, my work has built on
their vision and helped landscape photography progress on the path of Art. I believe the right-side of
my brain has greatly contributed to my work. Perhaps the brain tumor, discovered in 2004, contributed
to compensatory growth of the right and artistic side of my brain. I should have many years ago.

In any event, I am fortunate to have survived a great health crisis and have had the opportunity to develop my photography and art for
another two decades.
