We paused at Goblin Valley at the beginning of our long venture to the mountains of Colorado in the autumn of 2020. Goblin Valley is extraordinary, a fabulous location. Right at Roads End is a completing viewpoint. There is a vast array of goblins camped in the depression below, mineral creatures looking like something of a Tolkien movie. I wanted something bit different than the shots I had seen previously. I chose a Milky Way night, that’s happened to have clouds before it was truly dark. This idea makes the composting even more compelling!
