This was one of those times where "it all worked" as planned. It does happen! I was wide awake, a cup of coffee ready in my warm hands. I had planned this capture for awhile, I can't say how long. I was waiting for May New Moon, and an ocean location that was not foggy, and an inspiration for a great location. It all came together on a recent trip to the Oregon coastline; a gorgeous location with a view down to the water, and an easy hike too. I considered options beforehand. I choose my Sigma 20mm F1.4 lens, and settled on a long two minute exposure for the water, and a one minute for the sky using my Skytracker Pro, and combined them in Photoshop. This finished product meant my expectations.
