I can not even begin to tell you how many times I have photographed Mobius Arch over the years, always imagining that I had some concept in the right-side of my mind that would yield a good result. Starting maybe in 2001, I made at least a half-dozen trips to the Alabama Hills. And nothing worked. There was not a single capture that reflected my inner views of the Arch, until this autumn of 2019. I wanted the Milky Way in the capture. I needed my Photoshop skills to be up to par too. And I needed a cool night where I would not be too hot in the desert. All came together here. I like this capture! It reflects my vision of a beautiful evening in the eastern Sierra.
