I grew up in SF Bay Area, but seldom did my family make the drive to Twin Peaks in San Francisco. Back in early 2011, I made a panoramic image using 8 vertical slices and then combined into a horizontal with the full moon from this location. That image was good, but not commercially successful. Later the though of using a telephoto lens from the same location occurred to me. It is still a bit surprising that I sometimes forget the possibilities of the Canon 70 to 200mm "L" lens. These focal lengths were always hard to come by when using a 4x5 camera, and I need to be reminded that this lens is in my bag. It is a great value, and its incredibly sharp. I set up a bit later in the evening this time, and captured all of the lights of the City in the coming dusk.
