 Now at 68, I realize I should have embraced these possibilities of "First Morning at Rainbow Falls" much sooner! Approaching the first scene, Rainbow Falls was truly breathtaking. I was the first to arrive when it opened, greeted by the peak flow of the San Joaquin River, the mist's bright orange-yellow colors just emerging in the rising light, and the shadowy illumination of the turbulent waters. It's haunting to think of the years that have slipped by... C'est la vie.
