I was organizing older images in Lightroom CC last fall and came across a capture that seemed ordinary at the time back in 2010. But this image is not ordinary, Little Lakes Valley in Rock Creek Canyon is extraordinary! I knew exactly where to go make this photograph on a cold autumn morning. The location is only a half mile up the trail. Many folks miss this spot. Since then I have taken several workshops to this location; but one needs to careful. There is a 100 foot drop just to the left of the shooting spot.
