This is another photograph from my trips with my daughter, Sabrina. I had always been intrigued by images from the Lost Lakes that I had seen over the years. We made a camp nearby and made some wonderful images the evening before. The morning was smokey due to the many fires in the Sierra, but I knew that smokey conditions can make amazing images. But I must admit that I was surprised to see this amazing light a few moments after dawn. The smokey and deep blue in the sky made a marvelous combination, and Mount Ritter and Banner Peak have always been special to Sabrina, and my family. Really the whole area of the Ansel Adams Wilderness is a wonderful to any Sierra lover!
